The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you, in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR, about how personal data is processed when you visit this website.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider: OVHcloud, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
When you access the website, the web server automatically processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system, and the amount of data transferred. This data is used to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log files are deleted after 30 days.
3. Cookies, tracking and language selection
This website does not set cookies for visitors and uses no analytics, tracking or marketing tools. Fonts are provided by the visitor’s device; no third-party content (e.g. fonts, maps, videos) is loaded. A cookie banner is therefore not required. The language selection (DE/EN) works through ordinary links and stores nothing on your device. For logged-in administrators, WordPress sets technically necessary cookies that do not require consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
4. Contact form and contact by email
On the “Contact” page we offer a contact form. We process the details you enter: name, email address and your message. In addition, we note the time of your consent in the resulting email in order to be able to prove it. Before sending, you must confirm the privacy policy and consent to the processing; without this consent the form cannot be submitted.
Purpose: handling and answering your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, additionally Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Technical handling: The form is processed by our web server and forwarded as an email to info@kmit-sys.com. The form entries are not stored in this website’s database. To protect against misuse we use a technical security token, a hidden field and a short-term rate limit. For the rate limit, a non-reversible hash of your IP address is temporarily stored for 60 seconds; no third-party services (e.g. captcha) are embedded and no cookies are set.
Retention: We delete your enquiry once it has been finally processed and the purpose has ceased, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. for business correspondence under commercial and tax law).
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the contact form or by email to info@kmit-sys.com. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
Email: If you write to us directly at info@kmit-sys.com, we process the data transmitted to handle your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Please note that email transmission without end-to-end encryption may have security gaps.
5. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Recipients of your data are the hosting provider and our email provider (sending and receiving the form emails) as processors. To our knowledge, no transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place. The hosting provider is based in France and therefore within the EU.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights against us:
- Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
To exercise your rights, a message via the contact form or an email to info@kmit-sys.com is sufficient.
7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy when the legal situation or the functions of the website change. The version published here applies.
